We have developed a unique method which combines the charm of traditional parquetry flooring with the ease of modern products and techniques.
PARQUETRY in American Oak or Baltic which is 12mm thick comes pre cut and assembled on panels of 19mm particle board flooring squares at approx 890 x 890 depending on desired pattern.
LAYING METHOD: Panels can be laid on either concrete or timber floors, allow 32mm for the new finished floor level. If floor is not level packing & battens may be required. Next dry lay the panels edge to edge. Once ready to lay adhesive is used and a screw placed in each corner. Then apply cover strips and squares. for more detailed installation instruction please request via email.
STRIP FLOORING in American Oak in random or even width up to 210mm wide comes with rounded edges showing individual boards when laid or straight edge for a flush finish. Hand forged nails can be used to give a more traditional finish. Timber can be French polished & waxed, Aged patinated, White washed or driftwood finish and then seal with either a low sheen or matt finish.
